Overview

Pilot-RC is very pleased to announce the production of what is one of aviations most epic aircraft ever, the General Dynamics F16 Fighting Falcon.

Pilot-RC wanted this one to go above and beyond as a beautiful scale model. Pilot-RC found ways to make it reliable and tough enough to actually be flown on a regular basis, and not a problem to transport or put together, all in a package that fly's brilliantly well.

Split Fuselage for Easy Transport

The entire fuselage can be split, strategically placed between turbine and thrust tube, allowing for the entire fuselage to come apart with just five screws and two connectors for easy transport to and from the field.

Front nose cone can also be removed by unscrewing the pitot tube.

• Two piece wing and two piece full flying stabiliser, both fully removeable
• Easily detachable rudder for easy transport
• Two piece fuselage, with the split strategically placed to allow daily removal of tail section for easy transport to and from the flying field
• Easily detachable ventral fins, held in place with just two screws
• Painted outside the mold so no seam lines

Included Hardware

• Complete air frame (including fibreglass control horns)
• Carbon fibre wing-tubes, integrated into each wing
• Servo extension leads
• Fixed Dual wall thrust pipe (for 200-320N turbines)
• Fuel tank (6600ml) and UAT (250ml)
• Pre-prepared pushrods with ball links
• Pre-glued control horns

Optional Extras

• Pilot-RC electric landing gear and brake set
• Vector thrust pipe (Elevator and Rudder axis)
• 1600ml smoke tank
• Smoke system (includes kevlar tank, smoke pump, injection pipe and fuel tubing)
• Scale cockpit (minus pilot)

Required hardware:

• Turbine: 200-320N
• Servos: (x9 + 2 optional)
• x5 super high torque (minimum 35kg) // Uses x1 per aileron, x1 per elevator, x1 on rudder
• x2 middle size servo, 35 x 15 x 30mm (minimum 16kg) // Uses x1 for nose gear door and x1 for steering
• x2 standard size servo // Uses x2 for main gear doors
• +2 super high torque (minimum 35kg) if installing vector thrust pipe

Also requires all the usual accessories such as transmitter, receiver, batteries, powerbox and possibly other small accessories.

Retracts version including:

• Pilot-RC 1/5 F-16 kit with gear doors installed
• Pilot-RC electric landing gear and brakes set

Requires servos and turbine of choice. Does not include vector thrust pipe or cockpit set

Aileron: 45mm up / 45mm down – 40% Expo

Rudder: 50mm left / 50mm right – 50% Expo

Elevator: 35mm up / 35mm down – 45% Expo

Measured from the front of the leading edge of the elevator.

Vector thrust if installed: Maximum deflection – 50% Expo

The CG is 240mm from the front leading edge on the root of the wing
