PCM12X
Apologies
for not making certain aspects clear.
The
JR 12X will be available both as a standard 35MHz
system AND as a 2.4GHz system.
We
anticipate the 35 MHz version being available first
with the 2.4 GHz variant following shortly after.
Please
note that the information and pricing given here
is still subject to confirmation and cannot be quoted
as an authority (we still do not have confirmed
pricing information from JR) !
Availability
is still as yet unknown, we hope to have this Transmitter
by the end of the year but again do not quote as
an authority.
Pricing
for the PCM12X (35 MHz) and RS12DA receiver is approximately
£899.95 (subject to confirmation)
The 12X is a fully synthesised system but it still
requires an RF Module inserted in the rear. However,
the inserted module will "tell" the 12X
which Frequency Band has been inserted and the 12X
will display the relevant channels for that band,
so that you can select the appropiate frequency.
In other words, a 35 MHz module will give you all
the UK channels, insert a 36MHz module if you are
going to Australia ! There will be no requirement
to have the set sent away for "region authentication".
Some
Features......
Higher
definition display with backlight (4 step adjustable
?)
Improved

Want
to know if the channel you want to use is clear
? Use the Band Monitor function! This will show
you if there is any activity on your frequency before
you commit !

The
12X has the styling of the 10X but with the additional
functionality of the 9XII.
The
12X is still a 10Bit (1024 step) system but is a
full 12 channel implementation.
The
"A"in APCM doesn't stand for anything,
they have just decided to use the first letter of
the Alphabet !
