Fournier RF-4D
We expect the pretty Fournier RF-4D motor glider to be very popular. With a wingspan of 2 metres, it is available with either blue or red trim. Weighing in at just 1.8 Kg, a 250-300W brushless motor (not supplied) will provide ample power for getting aloft, after which you can switch the motor off and enjoy some serene thermal soaring. Or power on for some gentle aerobatics. Remember the Rothmans dual display team?

Dornier DO-335 Pfeil “Arrow”
The Dornier Do 335 was known as the Pfeil (Arrow). This WW2 heavy fighter offered high performance but delays in engine deliveries prevented it from gaining widespread use before the war ended. Motor delays are no problem with our model, which is supplied with two VMAX Va 2410-12 brushless motors and matching 18A speed controllers. At just four foot span (1240 mm) it has sparkling performance.
Junker F-13
The Junkers F13 first flew in 1919. It was the world’s first civilian aircraft to use a metal internal frame and was mostly skinned with tinplate. Designed as a transport aircraft, it was probably the most luxurious plane in the world at the time, with heating and interior lights in the passenger cabin. But these luxuries did not extend to the crew as both pilots had to sit in the open cockpit!
Our model is available in either Lufthansa or Swiss liveries, complete with printed corrugated effect covering. Each model is supplied with a pre-installed brushless motor and a matching 25A speed controller. The wingspan is 1225 mm.
