With the quality of Nickel Metal Hydride batteries varying widely, JR have
wisely been taking their time selecting high quality cells to use in their
battery packs. After all there’s little point in having a top of the range radio control system, only for it to
fail after being fitted with a cheap set of batteries!
So JR’s UK Distributor, MacGregor Industries are very happy to introduce you to some
long awaited Ni-MH packs from JR. The new 1500 mAH cell is available as either
a 9.6V Transmitter pack (8H1500) or as a flat 4.8V Receiver pack (4H1500). The
Tx pack has a matching plug to suit JR PCM9X, DSX9 or 11X sets. An L-shape foam
packing piece is also included to stop it from rattlingaround inside the
battery box.
A 2000 mAH cell is also available as a flat 4.8V receiver pack (4H2000).
Both receiver packs are supplied in JR servo boxes, with protective foam
padding.
