These 90-degree manifolds are now available to suit a wide range of Saito
engines. They allow the muffler to be fitted in a wide range of positions, the
most popular of which is probably pointing straight down behind the engine.
This neatly hides the muffler when the engine is fitted within a cowl, rather
than having it alongside the cowl as is usual with most installations.
