The REG-01SR is fitted with heavy duty cable and gold contacts. It is designed to be used in-line with a single servo, with a high voltage battery being used to power the receiver. The higher rx voltage may help to minimise 'brown-outs' caused by low battery voltage, especially after several flights, while the regulator ensures that the correct voltage is available to the servo for maximum performance.
